Represents iHeartMedia as an Account Executive. Prospect, qualify, and develop new business, grow current agency and direct business. Contribute to creative marketing plans for the stations and clients. Develop and execute promotions and marketing programs for clients. Sell radio commercial time.
Skills and Experience:
Sales experience a plus! Excellent written and verbal skills. Must have experience using common office programs:Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Thrives at goal setting and enjoys pushing themselves to the next level of success. Creative thinker that can translate ideas into marketing strategies to help clients business grow. Above average organizational skills. Demonstrates knowledge of sales skills and experience of selling an intangible product. Basic understanding of the Internet as a business tool.
Will report to the General Sales Manager but be accountable to departments including, but not limited to: programming, promotions, traffic/continuity, and the business department.
100% commissioned income provided with a base draw.Will attend some sales related promotions, which could include occasional weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be a self-motivated individual. Must be able to operate as part of an established sales team. Should be creative and energetic. Must have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile.
